Extreme obesity appears to significantly affect some types of risk behavior in adolescents, a new study shows. The government-funded research looked at the risks of sex, alcohol, illegal drugs, or suicide attempts reported in more 9000 students who participated in a nationwide study survey.The looked at the worst high school students – the ones that top the growth charts for their body size and weight and have a Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than or equal to the 99th Percentile. It starts about 220 pounds for a 15-year-old of average height.

New results presented at the congress of the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) showed that the alarming increase of obesity in the U.S. since the 70′s only due to excessive power . This study sought to evaluate the role of exercise and of food in the process of weight gain. Researchers have adopted a novel approach by combining these rules metabolic thermodynamic principles, epidemiological data and agricultural products.
